Budget 2024 has proposed adding the limit of duty impunity on leave encashment on the withdrawal of non-government salaried employees from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.

As per the current law, the overall leave encashment impunity claimed by one during his continuance. It from one or further employers, can not exceed the total limit specified in the said vittles( which is presently ₹ 25 lakh).

It's assumed that that you have abnegated from your current employment and entered ₹1.5 lakh as leave encashment in March. This time it was completely eligible for impunity as per the specified system of computation.
