How to add a Bank Account in Groww App?

It's been a while since you have been using the Groww app right? And you want to know how to add a bank account in Groww? So to add another bank account follow our step-by-step guide.

Steps To Add A Bank Account in Groww App:

1. Open Groww App on mobile/web.

2. Tap or Click “Profile”.

3. Tap or Click “Bank & Mandates”.

4. Now Tap on “Add Another Bank”.

5. “Continue” and “Enter bank details manually” options will appear on your screen. Select one of them.

6. Tap “Continue” if you want to add an account through UPI.

7. Now tap “Enter bank details manually".

8. Now in the search bar “Search your bank”.

9. Now tap on the bank that you want to add.

10. The “Find your branch by address or IFSC” page will open. Enter your IFSC to add the branch.

11. Now enter “9-15 digit account number” and “re-enter account number”.

12. After that tap or click on “Verify bank”.

13. And the bank verification is done by Groww by adding Rs.1 to your account.

So in this way, you can add another bank. To check whether the account has been added or not go to the profile section -> Bank & mandates-> another bank will be shown. Groww also gives the option of making a bank primary. Therefore you can also make a bank primary depending upon your choice.

In the case of UPI adding a bank account takes place instantaneously. And adding a bank account manually takes a little bit more time.
