How to Change MPIN in YONO?

In today's digital India, almost everything is done online, from buying groceries to investing in stocks. And when it comes to managing your money, SBI’s YONO app makes banking super easy. But to keep your money safe, the app uses something called an MPIN, a secret 6-digit number. Many people either forget their MPIN, set a weak one, or don’t know how to change it when needed. Sounds familiar? So, here we will discuss how to change MPIN in YONO.

What is an MPIN?

MPIN stands for Mobile Personal Identification Number. It’s like an ATM PIN, but for mobile banking. Instead of entering your password every time you log in to an app like YONO SBI, you just enter this 6-digit number.

Imagine MPIN is the secret passcode for your digital wallet. Just like you need a key to unlock your scooter, you need an MPIN to open your banking app.

Why is it Important?

MPIN is important because:

  • It keeps your bank account safe.
  • You don’t need to remember long passwords.
  • It helps you do things faster on the app, check your balance, send money, etc.
