What is Paytm Money?

Paytm Money Homepage

Paytm Money is an online investment platform launched by Paytm. It's registered with SEBI, connected to CDSL, and a member of NSE & BSE. You can invest in:

  • Mutual Funds (Direct, with zero commission)
  • Stocks (Delivery & Intraday)
  • Digital Gold
  • IPOs (New company listings)
  • NPS (Pension scheme)

Key Features of the Paytm Money App

Paytm Money is like a one-stop shop for all types of investments. Everything you need is in one app.

Zero Commission Mutual Funds: You can invest in mutual funds without paying any extra charges. That means more return, less cost. For example, if you invest ₹10,000 in a mutual fund, the full amount goes into your investment with no hidden cut.

₹0 Brokerage on Equity Delivery: if you’re buying and holding stocks (like HDFC or Infosys), you don’t pay any brokerage. For example, buying ₹5,000 worth of TCS shares? You pay ₹0 in delivery charges.

Beginner-Friendly Interface: The app is very simple. No confusing buttons or technical terms. Easy for someone using an investment app for the first time. Think of it like ordering groceries online. Just search, tap, and confirm.

IPO Investment in 1 Click: You can apply for upcoming IPOs directly through the app, no paperwork or bank visits.  For example, want to invest in the LIC IPO? Just tap "Apply" and confirm the payment.

Live Portfolio Tracking: You can see your investments in real time and how much profit or loss you have. Just like checking your Paytm balance, but for your shares and funds.

Safe Login with Fingerprint or Face ID: No one can access your account without your fingerprint or face. An extra layer of protection. Even if someone takes your phone, they can’t open your Paytm Money app.

100% Paperless KYC: You don’t need to print or sign anything. Just upload documents and do Aadhaar-based e-KYC. The entire process takes 5-10 minutes on your phone.
