How to Register Your Account for SBI Net Banking?

Follow these steps to register your SBI Net Banking account easily:

1. Visit the SBI Net Banking Portal.

2. Select Personal Banking Login or Corporate Banking Login (as needed).

  • CIF Number (from passbook)
  • Branch Code
  • Registered Mobile Number

  • Select I have an ATM card.
  • Enter your ATM card details and click Proceed.
  • Set a permanent username.
  • Create a login password as per SBI rules (with uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character).
  • Confirm your password and click Submit.

Your registration is complete, You can now log in using your username and password.

Note: If you don’t have an ATM card, you’ll need to visit your SBI branch to complete the activation. And make sure your mobile number is linked to your account before starting the process.

SBI Bank Net Banking Log-in Procedure

1. Go to official website of SBI Net Banking.

Here, the SBI Corporation banking users go through these steps to log in to their net banking. 

1. Go to the official website of SBI Net Banking.

How to Reset SBI Net Banking Password?

You can reset your password in these ways: Online using your ATM card or profile password or by visiting your SBI branch.

How to reset your password online

  1. Go to www.onlinesbi.com
  2. Click Login under Personal Banking, then click Continue to Login.
  3. Click Forgot Username / Login Password.
  4. From the pop-up, choose Forgot My Login Password and click Next.
  5. Fill in these details: Username, date of birth, account number, country, mobile number, or captcha code.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  8. Click Confirm.
  9. Choose how to reset: ATM card details or Profile password.
  10. Enter the required details and click Confirm.
  11. You’ll get a reference number and a link to return to the login page.
  12. Set your new password, confirm it, and click Submit.
  13. You can now log in with your new password.

Note: Make your password strong, use uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and a special character.

How to Activate SBI Net Banking?

Follow these simple steps to activate your SBI Net Banking:

  1. Go to www.onlinesbi.com.
  2. Choose Personal Banking Login or Corporate Banking Login (as needed).
  3. Click New User Registration / Activation.
  4. Fill in these details: Account number, branch code, CIF number (from passbook), country, registered mobile number, choose banking facility (View, Limited Transaction, or Full Transaction)
  5. Tick I Agree and click Submit.
  6. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and click Confirm.
  7. Select I have my ATM card and click Submit.
  8. Enter your ATM card details and click Continue.
  9. Set a permanent username.
  10. Create a login password that includes: One uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, or one special character
  11. Re-enter the password to confirm and click Submit.

You’ll get a success message once activation is done.

Note: Keep your username and password safe. Don’t share them with anyone.

How to Transfer Funds via SBI Net Banking?

State Bank of India Net Banking lets you send money anytime using NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or UPI, all available 24/7. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Go to www.onlinesbi.com and log in.
  2. Click on Payments / Transfers.
  3. Choose: Other Bank Transfer if you’re sending to a different bank, or Accounts of Others within SBI if you’re sending to another SBI account
  4. Select the type of transfer (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI).
  5. Choose the account you want to send money from.
  6. Enter the amount and select the beneficiary.
  7. Tick the box to agree to the terms.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. Review the details on the screen carefully.
  10. Click Confirm. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile.
  11. Click Confirm again.

You’ll get a confirmation message once the transfer is successful.
